Here's what Mealmodo collects, how we use it, and the choices you have — in plain language, not legalese. Mealmodo is a meal-ordering and invoicing tool used by catering kitchens and the teams they serve.
Information we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo to create and identify your account.
As you use Mealmodo, we store the data you enter — such as meals, menus, orders, invoices, and company details — so the service can function.
How we use information
We use your information to run the service — to sign you in, show the right workspace, record orders, generate invoices, and send transactional emails like invites and invoice notifications.
We never sell your personal information, and we never use it for advertising. That's it.
Data sharing
We rely on a small number of service providers to run Mealmodo, including a database host, an authentication provider (Google), and an email delivery provider. They process data only on our behalf.
Within a workspace, kitchen administrators can see the orders and billing details relevant to running the service.
Data retention & security
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time.
Access is protected by sign-in and role-based permissions, so members, administrators, and owners each see only what they should.
Cookies
We use a single cookie to keep you signed in between visits. We don't run advertising or third-party tracking cookies, so there's nothing extra to opt out of.
